Information Evolution Partners with Enlyton

IEI to Deliver Real-Time Data Discovery to Customers

Austin, Texas (March 4, 2013) — Outsourcing firm Information Evolution, Inc. (IEI) and Enlyton, the first cloud-based enterprise search and content discovery company, today announced that they have entered into a strategic relationship. Enlyton will be the exclusive solution used by IEI for the processing of a large number of newsfeeds in real time and associating relevant data to structured database records. The alliance leverages Enlyton’s patented mathematical semantic technology and allows IEI’s customers to integrate Enlyton-enabled data discovery into their online information services. This approach allows IEI’s information industry customers to avoid extensive investments in technology and technical resources while they quickly deploy enhanced information services.

IEI President Matt Manning commented: “One of the toughest jobs that information industry firms face is the need to append real-time information like recent regulatory filings, relevant social chatter, and news to their structured database records. Enlyton’s enterprise search technology provides a quick and accurate solution for doing just that.” In 2012 IEI announced that Connotate (New Brunswick, New Jersey) would be its exclusive partner for web data extraction technology and Khemeia (Chennai, India) would be the company’s exclusive partner for the extraction of unstructured data from PDF, MS Word, and other documents. Manning sees all three partnerships as strongly complementary: “Our customers’ businesses rely on extracting data from a wide variety of sources and making that information available to end-users ASAP. Our technology partnerships allow us to extract data from virtually all forms of unstructured or semi-structured data sources in real time, with great accuracy and at the lowest possible cost.”

Chris McKinzie, CEO of Enlyton, added: “Until now, making this type of information searchable has been a painful one, requiring information providers to take each piece of content out of its natural habitat, tagging it, categorizing it, and placing it in a central repository. This ordeal is too time-consuming, expensive, and difficult to deploy for most firms when the goal is the capture of relevant information from millions of source files. Our new approach to enterprise search keeps content where it is, indexes it, and makes it searchable in a matter of hours, not months. End users can search both internal and third-party content in virtual real time.”
